Creating a digital flagship store to celebrate the Furla Lifestyle.

As a brand Furla represents a dynamic intersection between contemporary lifestyle and futuristic design, all underpinned by timeless elegance. To incorporate all of this into a new digital flagship experience we based the design on 3 concept pillars: Radiance, Lusciousness, and Newness.

Radiance represents the muted energy and tingling warmth of Italian sensibility, made of uniqueness and a sense of belonging. It infuses every virtual corner with vibrant energy made of shape, colour and quality, creating a harmonious digital space. Lusciousness leverages the heritage of the brand including enhanced storytelling to create an immersive journey and a rich, sensory experience. Newness, propels the brand forward showing its ability to reinvent and revive according to the times – spontaneously, effortlessly, quickly. This is embodied in a design that has functionality at the core providing an optimized purchasing experience.

Turning concept pillars into UX & UI

We translated radiance, lusciousness and newness into the UX and UI by leveraging native mobile solutions, creating a content-rich layout and refreshing the whole digital space to support the Furla lifestyle.
The digital space is warmed by a new digital brand color. The subtle yet symbolic addition to the palette incorporates a romantic look at the past and a functional vision for the future. We then added a series of key colors accompanied by a “sunlit” version which can be used throughout the site to enhance content and improve legibility.

We created a renovated digital window in the shape of the new Furla monogram which embodies the essence of the fresh perspective of the brand. The window is a new gateway to discover the Furla Universe and boosts the digital space with an extra dose of Furla DNA.

A thoughtfully designed layout for the use of diverse content permeates the whole navigation.
Clarity and ease are what guided us to design an efficient mobile-focused experience. We then translated it into a seamless desktop version. Features such as the Quick Buy, Wishlist and swipeable product cards make the buying process fast and intuitive. Together every aspect of the design reflects Furla’s commitment to evolution, sophistication, and an everlasting connection with its audience.
